Bunny House at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary: The cutest place on earth for domestic rabbits and guinea pigs

The Bunny House tends to house around 90 rabbits and a few guinea pigs that were either abandoned victims of hoarding or excessive breeding. Some have injuries or special needs, and all of them just want to be loved.

Care and enrichment for rescued, adoptable rabbits

Rabbits are some of the softest, gentlest creatures on earth, and here at the Bunny House they get companionship with other rabbits, expert rabbit vet care, delicious fresh veggies year-round, activities, places to dig and, most important of all, the chance to heal and feel safe while waiting for forever homes. All of these happy hoppers are spayed or neutered and ready to meet someone special.

Volunteering or adopting

At Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, we're always busy keeping the animals happy, so we're unable to offer animal interactions to walk-in guests. To ensure you get quality time with the rabbits at Bunny House, please sign up for a volunteer shift.

To adopt from Bunny House, check out our list of adoptable rabbits. After you fill out an adoption survey, one of our adoption specialists will be in touch.
